This peculiarity is defined as the "Champagne" of Cafes.

The Kirinyaga region has perfect conditions for the growth of coffee with a red volcanic soil and an altitude ranging from 1700 and 1800 m asl.

This region renowned for its best coffee production is located at the foot of Mount Kenya.
